I WANT TO BUY A RADIO-CONTROLLED AIRCRAFT OR COPTER -HOW TO START?
There is a huge variety of planes on the market, of which only a part is well suited for a beginner. It is not worth blindly trusting all sales texts. First contact the club and get to know. Experienced enthusiasts will be happy to tell you about the different equipment that is well suited to the beginner -so you don't make unnecessary purchases. The equipment is sold by specialist hobby shops.
IS IT DIFFICULT TO FLY AN AIRPLANE, COPTER OR DRONE?
Not really -everything you learn by practicing. Controlling a radio-controlled aircraft or helicopter is little different from controlling the right aircraft because the same laws of physics apply to both. Essential for a beginner is a model that is well suited for their flying qualities and a more experienced trainer to learn how to fly and how to keep the equipment intact. In addition , an essential part of the hobby is the construction, tuning and repair of the equipment, i.e., more experienced support accelerates the learning of the nipples.
IS THIS HOBBY EXPENSIVE?
As a hobby, radio controlled models are cheap. The beginner's initial investment is typically 200-300 euros including the airplane and all the accessories. Even cheaper devices are found and, of course more expensive. A typical enthusiast uses a few hundred euros per year.
Big, large and sophisticated equipment for long-time enthusiasts can cost as much as thousands.
